Spalding tip set to keep pre-booking system after successful reopening
A new appointments system for using Spalding Household Waste Recycling Centre is set to become the norm after its successful reopening.
Just over 400 bookings were made to drop off garden waste and wood at the tip in West Marsh Road when it opened to the public again on May 18.
Since then, scrap metal, cardboard, glass, electrical goods and garden waste have all been accepted at the tip where services are returning to normal after an eight-week closure.
