Ex-hairdresser Steve Holbrook, who has grown a reputation as one of the UK’s top clairvoyant mediums, is coming to Spalding in May.
He is appearing at South Holland Centre on Wednesday, May 11 (6.45pm for a 7.30pm start) as part of a nationwide tour.
Steve claims to hear the voices of our loved ones that have passed away, an ability that began from behind the salon chair.
He now visits theatres and hotels around the country demonstrating his ability to act as a “telephone exchange between this world and the spirit world”, as he puts it. He has also written three books.
Steve says he was aware from being a child that life existed beyond the grave, having had the unnerving experience early on of waking to find five soldiers marching through his bedroom, though he could only see their top halves floating through the room.
He says: “This was a very unnerving experience but it was to give me an early glimpse of what was to come, and now it’s as natural as breathing to me.”
Tickets are £18 on the door or £17 in advance from 01823 666282.
