Citizens Advice South Lincolnshire reduces service across towns and villages

The coronavirus emergency has led Citizens Advice South Lincolnshire to centralise its services in the area "due to unprecedented national circumstances".

Offices in Holbeach, Bourne, Deeping St James and Market Deeping have now all closed, with customers being advised to contact centres in Spalding or Stamford instead.

In addition, face-to-face appointments are now suspended and customers can get family, financial, legal and housing advice instead by telephone, "webchat" and email only.

Citizens Advice South Lincolnshire is now to a telephone, webchat and email only service for the time being.

A Citizens Advice South Lincolnshire spokesman said: "Any pre-arranged appointments will be conducted by telephone and clients will be notified by text message.

"Additional telephone lines are being set up for clients who require food vouchers in Spalding where local arrangements have been agreed with the foodbanks, while arrangements at Stamford are under discussion.

"We hope to continue helping as many clients as possible during these uncertain times.

"However, please note that circumstances are changing daily and we will keep information updated."
