Members of Spalding Hospice Foundation Committee decorated a Christmas tree for the Tulip Suite Ward in Johnson Community Hospital.
Chairman Julia Rodwell, secretary Jayne Ball and treasurer Elizabeth Sneath are pictured with the finished tree.
Elizabeth Sneath said: “We support the hospice in many ways all year round. It is a pleasure to put a tree on the ward for patients and their families to enjoy at this special time together. It is a way to show our commitment to all who may be visiting friends and family at a difficult and worrying time and create a warm and loving atmosphere in the Tulip Suite over the festive period.
“We have recently purchased a selection of books on coping with bereavement for children and teenagers to read when they are visiting the ward.
We hope these will help young people facing the loss of someone they love.”
