Spalding and Gosberton school pupils shine in Christmas card art competition




Artistic youngsters from Gosberton House Academy, The Garth School and The Priory School entered a Christmas competition organised by MP Sir John Hayes.

Sir John said "I enjoyed looking at all of the entries which were of a very high standard. The children, their families and the schools deserve to be very proud."

On Saturday Sir John presented winners with their printed cards and sponsors joined him at Springfields to congratulate the winners.

Winners are Oliver Grummitt (5), from Gosberton House Academy, Isabella Huddlestone (11) from The Priory School, and Toby Smith (12) and Emilija Janikunaite (8) from The Garth School.

Sponsors were Springfields Outlet, Duncan & Toplis (David Gratton), Turners Fish Restaurant (Philip Hall), Moore Thompson (Mark Hildred), GBSG Ltd, Seagate Homes Ltd (Mr Howard King), PSP Ltd and Bridge Farm Group.
