Henry's Fish and Chip Shop sponsors rising stars at Long Sutton Cricket Club

Henry’s Fish and Chip Shop has become the latest local business to take advantage of Long Sutton Cricket Club's player sponsorship scheme, which is a new initiative introduced this season.

Business owner, and long-time supporter of the club, Henry Smith has sponsored all-rounder Charlie Crisp and seam bowler Joe Whittaker - two of the club's rising stars - for the season.

Long Sutton Cricket Club's Andy Crisp said that linking up with local business brought huge benefits to the club and the positives for the sponsors include regular mentions on the club's various social media platforms as well as having publicity material on view in the club pavilion.

“We are an inclusive club at the heart of the local community and it is fantastic that the town’s businesses are sharing in the success of the club. There are still individual player sponsorships available for all four senior teams.

"We also offer perimeter board sponsorship which gives firms the opportunity to have the name of their business displayed on a board at the ground in front of an ever growing group of supporters”

Matches taking place at Paradise Field most weekend afternoons until mid-September. Spectators are welcome, and refreshments are available.
