Alzheimer’s Society boost for Ladies Circle Holbeach and Spalding branch

The Alzheimer’s Society has received £1,800 from Area 28 of Ladies’ Circle.

Former Holbeach chairman Amy Darlow, who was chairman for the area which includes Holbeach and Spalding for a year until May, chose the charity to benefit from fundraising during her time in office. Her nan died from Alzheimer’s disease three years ago.

The money was raised through a joint ball with Round Table at The Great Northern Hotel in Peterborough, an afternoon tea event for Circle members from all over the country, raffles, and Amy and mumAnn taking part in the Memory Walk at Ferry Meadows.
