Artists are being invited to showcase their work in a major exhibition taking place in South Holland.
Various forms of work, from professional and amateur artists from the district and beyond, will be selected and shown at the Function Room in the South Holland Centre, Spalding from February 27 until March 7.
Entries are now welcome for the Open Arts exhibition from artists over the age of 14, from all over Lincolnshire and the surrounding region.
Up to three pieces of work can be submitted and these can be from a range of media – 3D, photography/digital, oil, pencil, pastel, watercolour, acrylic and gouache.
South Holland District Coun Nick Worth, executive member for arts development, said: “We have seen some tremendous artwork in previous years and I’m confident that we can again expect some excellent pieces this time round.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for artists across the district and beyond to showcase their work.”
There are size restrictions on work and only originals can be accepted. Pottery and ceramics are not eligible.
The closing date for entries is Monday, January 28, and successful applicants will be notified by Friday, February 8.
Application forms, detailing the full criteria for submission, are available at www.sholland.gov.uk/leisure/artsdev or can be obtained from South Holland District Council offices. Alternatively contact the Arts Development Officer on 01775 761161 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
