YOUNG people across South Holland are being given the chance to say what events they would like to see at one of the area’s most popular entertainment venues.
Youngsters aged between 14 and 26 have been invited to attend the first-ever youth forum at the South Holland Centre, Market Place, Spalding, on Thursday, May 12, at 4.30pm.
There will be the opportunity to chat about the kind of events they would like to see in the town, as well as being offered the chance to organise their own professional events at the centre.
Audience development worker Anna Wilson said: “We really want local young people to have a say about what kind of events they’d like to see here.
“Not only is this the perfect opportunity to tell us what they want, but in helping to organise professional events at the centre they will develop all sorts of skills that will look impressive both on CVs and applications for higher education.”
The forum will be held in the centre’s function hall, and free snacks and drinks will be on offer throughout.
All enthusiastic young people aged between 14 and 26 are welcome to attend.
