Anglian Water will be conducting a CCTV survey of the sewers within a road which has been closed for weeks due to the reappearance of a sink hole.

Boston Road South remains shut as investigations continue into why it keeps subsiding.

Anglian Water say there is no fault with their network but is planning to reline their sewers and will be undertaking a CCTV survey.

A spokesman said "We have confirmed some proactive investment to ensure the resilience of our sewer, which we will be undertaking while Highways already have the road closed in order to minimise disruption for local residents and road users.

"Ahead of the main work to reline the sewer in the coming months, we have now booked in a CCTV survey and jet cleaning for May 9. This programme of work will strengthen the network and hopefully come as good news for everyone."
