A 20-year-old Spalding man has been fined after being found in possession of cocaine when the car in which he was a passenger was searched by police for drugs.

Conall Mason of Grange Drive, who admitted the offence at Boston Magistrates Court, was said to have been a passenger in the car when it was stopped by police on February 21 at 5pm in Spalding.

Prosecuting, Lee Shepherd said the driver of the car admitted to the officers that he had taken cocaine and so the officers decided to search everyone in the car, at which Mason voluntarily handed over a small bag of cocaine.
