South Holland schools in line for share of £8billion 'catch-up' funding

Primary and secondary schools in South Holland are in line for a slice of an estimated £8million "catch-up" package on its way to Lincolnshire.

The cash is part of a £1billion response from the Government to the teaching time lost by children and young people during the coronavirus lockdown between March and July.

Teachers have welcomed back youngsters from Years 2-5 and 7-9 for the first time since March 20 when schools were advised to cater for vulnerable children and those of key workers only.
