Casualty released after black ice road crash in Sutton Bridge

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue crews freed a casualty from a vehicle following a crash on New Road, Sutton Bridge, this morning (Monday).

The injured person was taken to hospital by ambulance.

A spokesman for fire and rescue said the accident was caused by black ice.

The accident happened shortly after 5.30am.

Police said a Kia left the road and the male driver went to hospital in King’s Lynn for a check-up.
