Two cars involved in a collision on A16 at Cowbit

A casualty was cut free from a car by firefighters following a crash.

Crews from Spalding and Crowland Fire Stations were called to the bypass at Cowbit at around 9.34pm last night (Wednesday).

Officers used specialist cutting equipment to remove the doors and roof of a car to extricated a casualty.

They also made the other car safe by disconnecting the battery.
