Spalding care home residents and staff have vaccinations

Residents and staff at Cedar Falls Care Home in Spalding welcomed the Beechfield Medical Centre team to administer the COVID-19 vaccinations.

Throughout this challenging time home manager Anita Malkevica and the team have worked tirelessly to keep residents safe. Everyone is COVID tested weekly, the team follow strict PPE and cleaning protocols, and a purpose built screen has been installed in the home so that residents can see their Anita said: “Vaccination day was a giant step towards a return to normality.

“For many people it was a difficult decision, but they made it anyway and now most of our community here at Cedar Falls have been vaccinated.”

Deputy manager Susan Wilson added: “Having the vaccine has been a step forward in the fight against COVID-19.”
