A Holbeach nursing home is celebrating “positive” comments following an unannounced inspection.
Beech Lodge Nursing Home recently had a visit from the industry regulators, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who visited to complete an unannounced, random inspection of the home’s service.
The nursing home, which has been part of the Country Court Care Group since May of 1988, has not had an inspection for some time.
Beech Lodge was checked against several outcome areas of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the feedback from the CQC was extremely positive.
Country Court Care’s management and all staff at Beech Lodge were thrilled to hear that the home had received a fully compliant report.
The CQC Inspector highlighted certain areas which she felt Beech Lodge had excelled in, namely cleanliness and infection control.
A statement from the CQC report read: “People at Beech Lodge are cared for in an exceptionally clean and hygienic environment”.
Discussing the inspection, home manager Christine Clark stated “We are all very happy that we received such a positive result. Receiving a ‘fully compliant’ status gives our dedicated team of people the recognition they deserve for their hard work.”
