Big hearted golfers raised nearly £1,000 at the sixth annual tournament at Gedney Hill Golf Club for the St Barnabas Hospice at Home services in the Spalding area.

Seventeen teams took part and winners were Adam’s Ants with Watt Shop second and Rusty Buckets third.

Vikki Allen, the St Barnabas fundraiser and community events organiser, said: “Gedney Hill Golf Club are very supportive in letting us hold the tournament there.

“The weather was good, the sun shone and all the golfers had a good day.”
