Skips needs a new home

More news, no ads

Here is the weekly Man's Best Friend column by staff at Jerry Green Dog Rescue of Algarkirk...

‘Hello, my names is Skips! Sadly I have been in rescue for quite some time now, with no sign yet of finding myself a new home.

Here are a few things you need to know about me. I love to try to squeeze close to my friends on the sofa at the Jerry Green centre and I love to play, therefore I would like experienced owners, preferably with some knowledge of Staffies or similar breeds.

I am very worried when I meet people for the first time, so when it comes to finding a new family, I will need to be introduced gradually to everyone in the household.

I will need quite a few visits to get to know you slowly so it is important for my new family to be committed to coming to the centre and spending some time with me.

I would like to live in an adult-only, pet-free home with no visiting young children. I would like a quiet life with a very low visitor load and a nicely sized secure garden.

I do need to be the only dog in the home. Once I get to know people, I do become quite attached.

I would prefer to have my humans around most of the time but I should be able to cope with being left for two to four hours.

If you have a little skip in your heart beat when you see how cute I am, then please call the South Lincs team on 01205 260546 or email slincs@jerrygreendogs.org.uk with any questions you may have.
