Artists in the Spalding area are asked to get involved in a new creativity hub

A Spalding artist is hoping to help amateur and professional fellow artists in the area get their work noticed.

Abstract painter Joey Lowe (29) has previously held mini exhibitions of his work in the town, and now wants to hear from you.

"Through lockdowns and tier changes Spalding has seen an influx of artists cropping up, amazing cultural talent emerging in the grimness of 2020 and '21," he said.

"I've decided to form an artist hub for Spalding. I'm interested in collaboration and creating a live or online exhibition highlighting all the various artists our town has to offer.

"If you are an amateur or professional artist (I want graffiti artists, abstract artists, performance artists, cartoonists, fluid artists, upcycle artists and so on - the more contemporary and unique the better), drop me an email with an example of your work and a little info about yourself.

"The only stipulation is you must live in Spalding or the surrounding villages."
