Moulton villager whose fence was knocked down eight times is calling for speed cameras on A151

A villager whose fence has been knocked down eight times as a result of crashes is calling for speed cameras along the A151.

Moulton parish councillor James Kirk feels that stronger restrictions are needed on the A151 between Moulton and Whaplode after spending thousands on repairing the damage caused by a spate of accidents.

Lincolnshire County Council’s Planning and Regulation Committee is due to meet next week to consider reducing speed limits from 60mph to 50mph along one stretch of the A151, between Weston and Moulton, and from 50mph to 40mph through Moulton and between Moulton and Whaplode.
