Calf rescued by firefighters from water

Firefighters rescued a calf which had got into difficulties yesterday (Tuesday September 19) afternoon.

Specialist water rescue crews from Spalding Fire Station were called to Parson Drove, West Pinchbeck, where they found the calf struggling in water.

Firefighters used animal strops, manpower and a three-metre boat in the rescue.
