Spalding youngsters celebrate St George's Day parade and get ready for the Tulip Parade in 2010

More than 300 youngsters marched through Spalding town centre to celebrate St George’s Day 10 years ago.

The event saw Rainbows, Beavers, Cubs,Brownies, Guides, Scouts and Rangers from groups across the district get together.

James Harrison and Kimberley Rawlings were chosen as the Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Guardian Prince and Princess for the forthcoming Flower Parade back in 2010.

Kimberley (10), of Moulton, and James (9), of Crowland, were picked from 63 hopefuls and would ride in the parade in a decorated car wearing special outfits provided to them for the big day.
