Pinchbeck people with a special talent will be sharing it at The Carnival Talent Show on Friday, March 27.
That’s the night that singers, musicians and others with a special skill will be performing in Pinchbeck Village Hall (7pm).
It’s also the night that the Carnival Queen and her attendants for this year’s summer carnival are chosen and crowned.
The evening’s organiser Sally Slade said: “People must enter in advance and therefore must have a ticket to be there.”
The Carnival Talent Show came out of what was originally called Pinchbeck’s Got Talent, which was held on carnival day and contained an element of competition.
The new-style event is not a contest, but simply an evening of entertainment.
Sally says: “There will be a range of performers with links to Pinchbeck and that includes some of the previous prize-winners from Pinchbeck’s Got Talent.
“They include Will Silver, Abigail Slade, who have both won it twice, Tia Alexander and Pinchbeck School Choir.
“There are other acts as well, including Brian Johnson, Trevor Cummings, John Pailing and the brownies and guides.”
Entry forms for the Carnival Queen contest and tickets for The Carnival Talent Show are available from Sally on 07794 965228. Tickets are £2 for adults and £1 for children – and they’re selling fast.
