Spalding Park Road shut for sewer works and

A busy Spalding road has had to shut again for more sewer works.

Park Road has already been closed between January and April for ‘emergency work’ - having been shut for several months last year too for investigations into a ‘dangerous dip’.

An Anglian Water spokesman said: “Our teams are relining the sewer to build resilience. In order to keep our people and other road users safe while they work, we need to keep the road closed.

"There is a full diversion in place and we expect to reopen the road by the middle of next week. We’d like to thank our customers for their patience.”
