A sharp mind and keen eye proved priceless for youngster Alex Moore who has £50 to spend in Spalding’s The Crescent shopping area.

Alex, who goes to Monkshouse Primary School, Spalding, won a competition during this year’s Pumpkin Parade to find ten missing wildlife creatures in shop windows.

Children were invited to track down the animals which were all hidden in traders’ windows along The Crescent, Vine Street and Francis Street.

All the correct entries went into a hat out from which Alex’s name came out and the youngster was presented with his voucher by Darren Sutton of The Crescent Traders’ Association.
