Pinchbeck law firm Roythornes Solicitors has been recognised for its work in the food and drink sector at this year’s Law Society Excellence Awards.
Roythornes was highly commended in the Excellence in Marketing and Communications category, the only firm to be so from an eight-strong shortlist.
Marketing manager Mark Dodds said: ““We’re delighted to have the recognition for the work we have put into our food project.
“The food sector is a massive player in the regional economy and as a result of our activities, companies now know who to come to for specialist legal advice.”
The awards, held in London last Thursday and hosted by BBC TV and radio news presenter Mishal Hussain, celebrate innovation and good practice in the legal profession.
More than 640 legal professionals from England and Wales attended the black-tie awards organised by the official body for solicitors nationally.
Law Society president Andrew Caplen said: “The awards are a celebration of the remarkable work of individual solicitors, as well as the successes and innovations of practices and firms, both large and small.
“Rarely do you get such a breadth of talent under one roof and it is heartening to see the continuous good work that makes our profession what it is.
“I am glad the Law Society, through the Excellence Awards, is able to formally recognise this good work which usually takes place quietly, out of the spotlight and as a result of many long hours.”
