The boss of an estate agents’ branches in Spalding and Holbeach has been honoured by a national group.
Jamie Aspland, manager of Pygott & Crone in Spalding and Holbeach, has been appointed as Lincolnshire’s representative for the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA).
It means Mr Aspland will represent more than 1,000 agents by offering professional advice across the region.
He said: “This is a great honour as I have been chosen as the only representative for the county and have been handpicked by the well-respected NAEA.
“In order to be chosen, you are required to be a member of the association for at least two years and be actively working within the industry. You then have to go through quite a lengthy interview process.”
He joined Pygott & Crone more than 12 years ago as a trainee negotiator at the Grantham branch.
He added: “Having lived and worked in Lincolnshire my whole life I am very proud to be in a position to showcase the good work being done here and the booming property industry we’re experiencing at the moment.
“The association is an organization which focuses very much on raising standards within the industry, maintaining high levels of service and professional skills development for its members.
“I look forward to encouraging these traits among other members in the area and continuing to support the county’s efforts as a leading area in the country’s property industry.”
