Organisers of the South Holland Business Awards say they are braced for a late flurry of submissions as the deadline looms.

Companies have a choice of seven awards categories to enter but the October 20 deadline is only five days away.

Phil Scarlett, president of the Spalding Area Chamber, said: “We’ve received a healthy number of entries for all the awards categories but there’s still time for businesses to make their submissions.”

Local businesses can look forward to winning coveted awards across seven categories, including Apprentice of the Year, Support in the Community Award, Customer Care Award, Business Innovation Award, Business Person of the Year Award, Small Business of the Year and Business of the Year.

Application forms are available by emailing

Businesses can only enter the awards if they are based in the South Holland Area. One business can enter a maximum of three categories.

The award ceremony will take place at the Springfield’s Events Centre on November 19.

Tickets are being sold for £25+VAT for Chamber members and £35+VAT for non-members.
