A man in his 30s from Spalding has been airlifted to hospital with serious chest injuries after a farming accident earlier today.
Paramedics arrived shortly before 11.30am to treat the man who was working with agricultural machinery when the accident happened.
He was then taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
A spokesman for the specialist Magpas Helimedix medical team said: “Our doctor and paramedic assessed the patient who had suffered serious chest injuries and provided him with enhanced pain relief.”
