A local cat charity is inviting you to read between the lines at its book event.

Although it is a stock clearance sale, it is also an opportunity to obtain free advice on cat and kitten care at a time when many people cannot afford to consult a vet.

Janet Boujaama, director of PJ Cat Rescue, said: “The book event starts on Thursday, May 28, at our shop on High Street, Long Sutton, which is opposite the Market Place.

“We like holding these events because they give us the opportunity to meet new cat lovers, and to offer more people advice on caring for their fur-babies.

“We take every opportunity possible to get across important cat care information, and events like these provide excellent opportunities.

“This event is particularly timely, coming as it does at the time of year when it is most important to get across messages such as the vital importance of neutering and spaying your cats.

“So come along and get a bargain book, and maybe meet some of our gorgeous pussycats who are looking for loving new homes.”
