Lincolnshire health chiefs say they are unable to do blood tests due to NHS supply issue

Health chiefs are asking patients to be kind to practice staff who are unable to conduct routine blood tests due to a supply issue.

Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group has put out a statement following issues by supplier Roche.

It says: "Unfortunately the problems being experienced by Roche are not fully resolved and there is still a temporary shortage of certain chemicals that is affecting the availability of routine blood tests carried out by GP practices, although our GP practices can still process clinically urgent tests.
