Moulton Parish Council to call in pest control to protect cemetery

A well-kept cemetery could be protected from future bird attacks as councillors look to tackle a grub infestation.

Moulton Parish Council is hoping to prevent a repeat of the damage inflicted by crows and rooks pulling up the grass at the village cemetery earlier this month.

Volunteers rallied around to clear up the mess and the grass has since been rolled and re-seeded but councillors will be calling in a professional company to get rid of the insects which the crows were feeding on.
