Bikers to do their bit for charity

MORE than 40 bikers travelled from King’s Lynn to Spalding pub the Punchbowl collecting teddies along the way for Christmas at Quiddenham Children’s Hospice, Norwich.

Having stopped along the way to pick up donations from The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn, a free barbecue was waiting for the riders at the Punchbowl where they were presented with a large teddy, paid for thanks to donations from customers.

Punchbowl owner Pete Williams said: “The motorbike toy run was a great success and its nice to see all donations going directly to the children”.

The hospice supports families and cares for children with life-threatening conditions.
