Police in Spalding are looking for a bicycle that was stolen from outside a department store




A women's bicycle has been stolen from outside the back entrance of a department store in Spalding.

The bicycle, a pink Dunlop Bloom model with a basket on the front, was taken from the loading bay outside Beales in Francis Street some time between 11am and 5.45pm.

Store worker Mandy Taylor, the bicycle's owner, said: "When I came to work, I'd leaned the bike up against a wall and put a lock on it.

"But when I finished work at 5.30pm, the bike wasn't there.

"Someone must have used a bolt cutter to take the bike lock off and then carry it away."
