EVERYONE was a winner at the second South Holland Food Festival at the weekend, with good weather bringing out visitors in their thousands to Spalding’s Ayscoughfee Hall.
It wasn’t just the numbers, which easily outpaced last year’s 7,000, but their good mood on both days, according to organiser Janet Hemmant, Boston College corporate services director.
She said: “We’ve had fantastic feedback from both stallholders and visitors, each praising the other.
“There was plenty for children to do as well as adults, and both schools and organisations like the Guides took a full part in activities.”
