Football fans in Donington can follow England's crucial, World Cup semi-final when a big screen is set up in Market Place tomorrow (Wednesday).

The parish council, which owns Market Place, has given the go-ahead for the live screening ... and all football fans need to do is take along their own chair.

Parish and district councillor Jane King said: "It's something we have never done before in Donington and it's a nice thing to do. We don't often have things for England to celebrate so why not?"

The 100-inch screen is being provided by Jonathan Pearson, who also made it available for a beer festival in the village that coincided with Saturday's England match against Sweden, which saw Gareth Southgate's men triumph 2-0.

Tomorrow's match starts at 7pm and the parish council is asking drivers not to park in Market Place from about 5pm so the area can be set up for families to enjoy the game.

Donington's Black Bull pub will show the match as usual and Coun King says the pub is happy about the separate, Market Place screening.

Coun King hopes people won't take alcohol along to the Market Place event and, instead, go to the Black Bull if they want to drink.

* Medical team LIVES will be on standby at the special screening.
