BBC Radio Lincolnshire listeners are being invited to go along and see their favourite presenters broadcasting live from Spalding and Bourne later this week.
Kicking off on Monday and continuing until Sunday, the station has ditched the studio and been broadcasting live from a different location for each programme as part of a special One Week in Lincolnshire feature.
Breakfast presenter Rod Whiting visited Spalding for his breakfast show yesterday which came from the town’s Red Lion Quarter and the station also visited Long Sutton’s Butterfly Park for the afternoon show on Monday.
Long Sutton’s Co-op and the Deeping Leisure Centre has also hosted programmes.
BBC Radio Lincolnshire News and Sport Editor, Michael Hortin, said: “2012 is a big year for the country, with the Queen’s Jubilee and the Olympics, so we decided to get out and about to reflect life across the county – it’s similar to an audio Domesday Book. ”
Peter Levy will be at Spalding’s South Holland Centre tomorrow (Friday) from noon-2pm and the Drivetime show will come from Bourne Leisure Centre.
