Deeping St James residents urged to keep doors and windows closed as barn full of vehicles catches fire

Residents in Deeping St James are tonight (Wednesday, January 13) being urged to keep their doors and windows after a barn full of vehicles caught fire.
Crews from Market Deeping, Crowland, Spalding and Bourne, as well as the water carrier from Holbeach, are tackling the blaze in Stowgate which was reported at 8.45pm.
Crews are using breathing apparatus, hose reels and main jets to extinguish the fire.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said the incident involved a barn containing vehicles that was "well alight".
They added on Twitter: "If you live locally, please close doors and windows to avoid smoke entering your property."
