Cowbit's pink-haired powerhouse through to national business awards final
Award-winning extreme empowerment specialist, TEDx speaker and best-selling author Taz Thornton has reached the final of another national business award.
The Cowbit-based coach, nick-named the ‘pink haired powerhouse’, is a finalist for Most Inspiring Business Woman in the Best Business Women Awards – a year after winning her Best Coach award.
Taz will join hundreds of business women from across the UK at a glittering awards gala in London this month to discover who will take home the coveted trophy.
She says: “I’m so proud to have made it to the final of the awards which attracts amazing entries from business women throughout the country and I can’t wait to spend an inspiring evening of networking, motivation and fun! It’s going to be awesome!”
This latest award nomination comes on the back of an impressive year for Taz. In February she won a global business award for her Heart of Speaking speaker training retreat and in March was named as one of the top 100 female marketers to follow by SEJ (Search Engine Journal). Then in June Taz reached the Diva Awards final in London in the Unsung Hero of the Year category as well as being named in the top 100 Diva Power List.
In April she also spoke at the first #TEDxPeterborough with her talk The Science Of Being Silly https://youtu.be/7CYGCWH_46c - her second TEDx talk in two years – and she regularly speaks to a variety of audiences across the globe on motivation, self-belief and personal power, using her inspiring life story to help others.
Taz is also the author of two books – Whispers From The Earth (Moon Books) and Unleash Your Awesome (Motivational Press) with three more books in the pipeline.
Having appeared on ITV and BBC, Taz, a qualified firewalk instructor, coaches people from all walks of life, with clients around the UK and as far afield as Australia. She runs her #UnleashYourAwesome self-development workshops where she helps people conquer their fears and tap into their personal power, often leading them to walk over fire and broken glass.
So, what’s next for the award-winning coach?
This month Taz kicks off Empowering The Self - her 14 month spiritual empowerment programme now in its eighth year, flies to Cannes in October to deliver a two-day branding and visibility workshop with former Discovery Channel presenter Dr Andrea Pennington and has new books underway as well as a weekly column for America Out Loud where she has written about everything from Go Ape to gun crime!
