Passionate gourmet and Michelin-starred restaurant owner Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren) becomes rather miffed with the impending opening of Papa Kadam’s (Om Puri) Indian restaurant nearby.

Then, a sterling cast of actors including Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton and Dominic West star in the much anticipated ‘Pride’ from Saturday, October 11.

Set at the height of the miners’ strike, this great British comedy portrays the true story of a group of lesbian and gay activists from London who raise money to help families affected by the strike and set off to Wales to make their donation in person.

More comic capers are assured in ‘What We Did On Our Holiday’ which follows Doug (David Tennant) , Abi (Rosamund Pike) and their three children as they embark on an eventful road trip to Scotland to see Grandpa Gordie (Billy Connelly).

This uplifting comedy comes from the creators of the BBC hit series Outnumbered, Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, and can be seen at the Centre from Monday, October 27.

Meanwhile, younger audiences can enjoy some animated fun courtesy of a group of mischievous creatures called ‘The Boxtrolls’ from October 17, and then splashing into half term, ‘Dolphin Tale 2’ continues the uplifting story of brave Winter the dolphin at the Clearwater Marine Hospital.
