Market Deeping arrest after three days of criminal activity linked to travellers' site

Lincolnshire Police are supporting officers from Cambridgeshire after reports of criminal activity in connection with a travellers' site over the last three days in Market Deeping.

Police say they are taking robust action and plan to increase their presence in the area.

One person has already been arrested in connection with this and several items, believed to have been stolen, have been seized.

Enquires are on-going and police are encouraging anyone with any information to contact them on 101.

Meanwhile, South Holland District Council has served notice on a group of travellers to leave a site in Market Deeping.
