COFFEE morning will be held in the school room of the United Reformed Church on Saturday, 10am-11.30am with all the usual attractions.


CROWLAND Royal British Legion Club presents Marcia Santana on Saturday. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets £7, including food (£8 on the night), available from the British Legion Club 01733 210515.


DONINGTON and Quadring Royal British Legion Social Club is open to all, you do not need to be ex-forces. Bingo is held every Wednesday in the main hall, doors open 7pm. This Friday the main hall doors open at 7pm for dancing to Craig and on Saturday Green Velvet, formally Shamrock, is performing, doors open 7pm. Members £2, non members £3. On Sunday Pat Campbell will entertain in the lounge at 7pm. Members £1.50, non-members £2.


GOSBERTON Churches Together monthly fellowship takes place at the Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 16 at 7.30pm which reflects on ‘The Lord’s Prayer’.

VOLUNTEERS are required for helping at St Peter and St Paul’s Church flower and craft festival from April 27 to May 6, 10am to 5pm. Help is needed for meeting and greeting people and manning the different stalls. If you can help phone the vicarage on 01775 840694.

GOSBERTON Church fellowship meets in the church hall on Monday at 7.30pm.

PARISH Council meets in the Public Hall on Monday at 7.30pm.

LINCOLNSHIRE Police have a surgery in the church hall tomorrow, 10am to noon.

MOBILE library will be in Gosberton on April 19 at Field Close 10-11am and Godfrey Avenue, 11.05am-noon.


MEGA bingo in the WI Hall, Park Road, on Saturday with proceeds to 2430 Holbeach Air Cadets. Good prizes, doors open 1pm for eyes down at 2pm.

Holbeach St Marks

Long Sutton

ROYAL British Legion women’s section is having a fish and chip lunch at the Jolly Fryer in Wisbech on Thursday, noon. Cost is about £5.50 plus drink.

FRIENDS of Moulton Mill will meet on April 23 at 7.30pm.

THERE is a two-course Sunday lunch in the village hall on Sunday in aid of the village hall refurbishment fund, 12.30pm for 1pm, price £7. For tickets call Chris Schofield on 01775 680444. There will also be a raffle and fun quiz. All proceeds will go to the fund.

Saracen’s Head

BINGO will be held tomorrow in the village hall at 7.30pm in aid of Carter’s Park Bowls Club. Doors open at 6.30pm.


AS part of the ‘Put yourself in my shoes’ week, the Spalding and District branch of Parkinson’s UK have a coffee morning at Broad Street Methodist Church on Saturday, 10am-noon. Whaplode Drove

COMMUNITY Choir begins it’s summer term on Monday at 7pm in St John the Baptist Church porch. New members of any age or ability are welcome.

THERE will not be a service at St John the Baptist Church on Sunday, April 21. Instead there will be a combined Holy Communion at Holy Trinity Church, Gedney Hill, at 9.30am.
