More news, no ads

Veterans and serving personnel marched through Spalding town centre to honour the commitment shown by our armed forces.

Representatives from all three arms of the military took part in the service and parade on Tuesday, which had been organised to celebrate Armed Forces Day.

Proceedings began by South Holland District Council chairman Paul Redgate raising a flag outside the Priory Road offices before people mustered in Hall Place ahead of the parade.
