Outline planning application of 45 homes near Cedar Drive in Bourne receives letters of objection

An outline planning application has received more than 190 letters of rejection from the public.

Hazelton Homes has submitted a plan outlining they want to build 45 houses on land to the north-west of Cedar Drive, Bourne.

At a Bourne Town Council meeting on Tuesday (April 26), Coun Helen Crawford (Con) spoke on behalf of the planning committee of South Kesteven Council.

She said: “There has been a fantastic response from residents to refuse the plans.

“The planning officer on the case has received more than 190 emails of letters of objection.

“It just really shows that the Bourne community pulls together when it needs to.”
