MOULTON Parish Council wants to talk to police about thefts from farms.

Coun Martin Clayton told Tuesday’s meeting: “I would like to invite that clown down from Spalding to talk about thefts of agricultural equipment in the area.”

Asked if he meant Insp Paul Timmins, Coun Clayton agreed he did but said talks wouldn’t take long because the police are doing nothing.

He added: “I have had two ‘visits’ within three days. Eventually (thieves) will clear me out before the end of the week.”
