TODDLERS dressed as wild animals for their first-ever sponsored event in Gosberton Park.
Animal magic was the theme of the day for Gosberton Rainbow Playgroup’s first Toddle Waddle for charity.
The older under-fives were so enthusiastic that many of them ran around the laps.
Playgroup leader Jane Houghton said: “It’s the first time we’ve done a toddle for charity and it won’t be the last – it was a great success.
“We were delighted that quite a few parents joined in too and some of the children, who had all made animal hats with us, turned up in complete costumes to match.
“It was organised by Karen Ellison from the staff and we estimate it made around £150.
“Most of it will go to under-fives through the Barnardo’s children’s charity and we’ll keep back some for a day trip or party at the end of term.”
