More than £3,700 was raised in the space of two hours to benefit the education of Moulton primary school pupils at an annual fundraiser.

John Harrox Primary School played host to an Alice in Wonderland themed party, with organisers keen to acknowledge the help they received in making the event a fantastic success.

Corrinne Grimwood, chairman of the friends of the school committee, said: "I would like to say thank you to the businesses and parents who helped, because without them we couldn't have done it."

The event has been held annually for more than ten years, and opened each year by MP John Hayes.
