Spalding Parkinson's group raises more than £500




Spalding and district Parkinson's branch raised more than £500 at an afternoon tea.

The event was held at Pinchbeck Village Hall in the run-up to Parkinson's Awareness Day.

Committee member Jane Coxon said more than 50 people had a very enjoyable afternoon.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the branch, which fundraises for research into the illness, and supports members and carers.

* The branch will hold collections at Morrisons, Pinchbeck, on April 25 and 26.
