UPDATE: A15 between Langtoft and Baston open again after accident

UPDATE: Two vehicles involved in a collision on the A15 earlier this evening have now been recovered and the stretch of road between Langtoft and Baston re-opened.

UPDATE (TODAY, 6.23PM): Police say heavy rain and an oil spillage are not helping their efforts to clear up after an accident on the A15 this evening.

The A15 is currently closed both ways from Langtoft to Baston after the accident between a car and a van at about 4.19pm.

Recovery has been requested for both vehicles.

PREVIOUSLY (TODAY, 5.25PM): The A15 is currently closed between Langtoft and Baston after an accident.

The incident involved a car and a van and was first reported at 4.19pm.

A full closure was implemented around 5.10pm and is affecting traffic between Eastgate and Baston.

Police are advising motorists to avoid the area and say traffic is moving very slowly.
