Spalding Academy supports Foodbank Appeal

Spalding Academy is once again taking part in the Spalding Guardian Christmas Foodbank Appeal.

Last year students filled over 130 hampers and this year students with their heads of houses and form tutors are already busy collecting food and trying to fill as many as they can before their deadline of December 17.

Deputy head Brett Sinclair said: "We have committed to this over a number of years now and it is linked to our successful house system.

"All tutor groups from Year 7 to 13 fill hampers and then deliver them to selected local care homes as part of supporting our local community. As you can imagine, these are always gratefully received."
